Our Story

The story of Roman Jentzen transcends through time as it originates with the birth of Creator & CEO Prisca Zereoue in Ivory Coast year 1978.

Its formation is the collection of an unconventional upbringing, hard lessons, beautiful truths, and the breaking of generational curses.

Raised by her mother and siblings, Prisca experienced an unstable environment bouncing from house to house for the first 8 years of her life due to her mother's financial circumstances while in West Africa.

The family dynamic was made to where her father was not physically present in the home because of his new residency in the United States. But her father had dreams of bringing his family to America and worked hard to do so. Prisca took notice of how diligently her father worked to provide what he could. To come from a foreign country with a major language barrier and still create several businesses to eventually get his family to the States took courage and perseverance; and most notably, a visionary. It was this example of fearlessness that allowed Prisca to step out on her own; with all possible risks present, and begin creating her own lane to success.

After working as a hair stylist for 22 years, turning her life to God, getting married and having her first child, the hardships will still present itself after her unfortunate divorce, losing her home, and now living in a shelter with her 11 month old child for the next 2 years. She felt like her life took a change for the worse and this was the breaking point. However, it was at this point where a significant shift would happen. As much as she wanted to believe she could no longer handle life, she reflected on what her dad was able to do and the lessons she learned through his success & failures. She wanted to do better and be better for herself, and be an example to her son of all that is possible just like her father was that example for her. With the help of those she met, and her story that she shared, Prisca was able to get support to go back to school and get her GED, and is currently in the process of earning a college degree.It was those relationships that she continued to make and nourish through her story and goal achievements that led to more support with slowly forming her dream clothing line; Roman Jentzen, named after her first born child.

The Roman Jentzen line is to represent all that can be from an example of all that was. The creation of Roman Jentzen could not have been possible without the raw examples of what it means to persevere and lead for the next generation. With The Roman Jentzen Line, Prisca Zereoue has shown that SHE IS a visionary and her story is a powerful interpretation of the grace that is bestowed on those who choose not to give up.
